Welcome to Lokoja. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its systems.

3. Orders & Payments

All prices are listed in the checkout currency shown on the Service and are subject to change without notice. An order is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation notification from us.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailability of items.

Payment is collected at the time of order placement. For cash on delivery, payment is due upon receipt of your order.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel an order within 5 minutes of placing it, provided preparation has not begun. After that window, cancellations may not be possible.

Refunds are considered in cases of incorrect, damaged, or undelivered orders. Requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the expected delivery time. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.

5. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Lokoja is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including traffic, weather, or third-party courier issues. It is your responsibility to ensure accurate delivery information is provided at checkout.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Lokoja or its licensors and is protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lokoja shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
